Sorry, got no time to spare

if you asked me a question by mail, and got a response pointing you to this page, try the following resources:

if you have a book question:

if you've bought a copy of the library book and have a question or two, send it to . I'll reply as soon as I find some time to spare.

if you need information on tkinter programming now, check the tkinter introduction. it not entirely finished, but at least it's free :-)

if you have a python question:

use the newsgroup. or the user support mailbox.

if you have a tkinter question:

use the python resources mentioned above.

if you have installation problems, check the faq might help.

you cannot download the tkinter introduction as one file. if you want a local copy, use the websucker tool provided with the Python source distribution (it's in the Tools/webchecker directory). a PDF version is also available.

if you have a python imaging library question:

the pil product page tells you where to get free support.

for free support, use the image-sig mailing list. if you cannot get a specific feature to work, make sure to include the code in your mail.

for commercial support (with quick turnaround), see the product page.

you cannot download the pil handbook as one file. if you want a local copy, use the websucker tool provided with the Python source distribution (it's in the Tools/webchecker directory). a PDF version is also available.

questions sent to (or relating to) the image-sig mailing list are checked (by me) once a week or so. there are many other helpful PIL users on that list, so you usually don't have to wait that long.
