What this is and is not
This draws your signature onto the page as an image. That is what most people mean by signing a PDF, and it is what the overwhelming majority of everyday agreements, forms and consent sheets actually require.
It is not a digital signature in the cryptographic sense. A cryptographic signature binds a certificate to the document so that any later change is detectable, and it needs a certificate authority and a key you control. If a counterparty has asked specifically for a digitally signed or certified PDF, this is not that, and you need dedicated software.
The signature is placed with a transparent background, so the page underneath stays visible around the strokes. Nothing else on the page is altered and no content is rasterised.
Common questions
Is it legally valid?
In many jurisdictions a drawn signature on an electronic document is accepted for ordinary agreements, but this varies by country and by document type, and some documents require witnessing or notarisation. If it matters, ask a lawyer rather than a web page.
My signature looks bad drawn with a mouse.
Everyone's does. Draw it on a phone with a finger instead, which is much closer to the real motion, and use a slightly thicker pen.
Can I put it on several pages?
Place it, download, then feed the result back in and place it again on the next page. Your drawing stays on the pad between runs.
